Intel i9-12900H

I have been searching to see if there is any information regarding Qubes and this processor (Intel i9-12900H 14-Core). I assume it is potentially ‘too new’ to suitably run Qubes, but just wanted to reach out to the community to check / confirm.

Apologies if this question is in the wrong area.

Hi rysS,

You can take a look at the Hardware compatibility list if you see your components listed there.

If it is not listed you can ask too add your device

hope it will help you

Hello mate I am having problems, (seemingly) with the 12800H processor. It could be my dGPU however.

Here’s the thread:

You can follow along to see if we fix it!

I also have an Intel i9-12900H and Qubes 4.1 installation warns that my hardware “lacks features required by qubes. Missing features IOMMU/VT-d/AMD-Vi”. I currently have Windows 11 and have confirmed that virtualization is enabled. Also the Intel Core i9-12900H does support VT-d (Intel Core i9-12900H Specs | TechPowerUp CPU Database)

Are you sure that both VT-x and VT-d are enabled in your BIOS?

Hello DVM. I have a Minisform NAD9 and the BIOS appears to be AHBAA 1.0B x64 BIOS. I see no virtualization options so have reached out to Minisforum support. Thanks.
