system hangs at this stage, installation is not completed

Are you sure it’s hung?
The “cylon” (back and forth moving bar) slows down and stops, for some reason, even when things are going well.
I’d say wait at least an hour preferably two before deciding it has “hung.”

I remember having the same issue a few years ago (even after 2 hours). I had to do a power off to kill the installer.
I could not find the issue but my solution was simply: Restart the installer process.
