I’m installing OS, created a password for the hard drive and created a password for the user. When I try to log into my account it says the password is incorrect. how is this possible? The keyboard layout is correct. The password consists of numbers, upper and lower case
The possibilities are:
- Numlock (mostly on laptops)
- Capslock
- Layout change (you eliminated it)

Numlock is on, capslock is also ok
Maybe it was the other way during installation/password setting. I would try changing it. Specially for Numlock.
