I am getting used to the compartmentalized approach — definitely a different mindset coming from a regular Linux setup. I have managed to get the basics going but there’s one thing I am still unsure about: how to safely run Windows applications when absolutely necessary.
I need to use some data tools that only run on Windows. I started a short power bi training course & I have been trying to figure out the most secure and lightweight way to use it within Qubes. I have looked into creating a Windows qube but I am not sure if I have done it right — performance feels a bit sluggish & I am concerned about security.
How do you all handle this? Any tips on streamlining Windows app usage in Qubes or optimizing the VM setup would be appreciated. Also i have check this [qubes-users] Benefits of running Windows VM in QubesOS still want tips.
