well, the problem is that I used an automatic encrypted partitioning. i allocated more than 200 GB, and I though it would be enough. but somehow it still wants 12 MB more. i never had this problem before and i could easily dual boot win11 and encrypted qubes installation. do i partition it manually? if so, how? is it any different from partitioning a table for arch linux?
Windows is creating 100 MiB EFI System partition by default and when you install Qubes OS it’s reusing this EFI System partition. But 100 MiB is not enough for Qubes OS. Qubes OS is creating 600 MiB EFI System partition by default.
You need to resize your EFI System partition to increase its size so it will be enough for Qubes OS files.
You can use gparted to resize it.

ok but how will this time qubes os installation wizard know that it’s actually its own ESP, not win11’s?
It’s reusing the existing EFI System partition by default if it finds one on the installation destination disk.
Both Windows and Qubes OS will be using the same EFI System partition.
