How to verify integrity of files once bootable USB is created?

Hello,

How to verify integrity of files once bootable USB is created? In case it would be tampered with afterwards! I heard some distro have text file for this in ISO, but what if file was tampered with after you check checksum of iso and create bootable USB?

I suffer from paranoia, it is annoying!

I will test from multiple computers etc.

Thank you for help!

This link will explain how to verify ISO files, but you probably want to read the entire page.

I already did this once, but this is not what i am asking… i know it is overboard paranoid, i just can’t help it, it is better ask so i can have relief, i will try what i can and that will have to be enough…

It’s already documented on that page in this section:
