How to reflash to G1ETC1WW from Nitropad

Hi,

I am trying to do this GitHub - hamishcoleman/thinkpad-ec: Infrastructure for examining and patching Thinkpad embedded controller firmware to enable usage for t420 keyboard change for my t430.

this video shows that he did an ec flash before upgrading to coreboot

I am on nitropad, how can i get G1ETC1WW?

I don’t have a Nitropad, but I have done the mod on my X230, I don’t see why you shouldn’t be able to do it.

The github repo has scripts that will build a disk image you can boot from usb, it uses the lenovo firmware tool and the process will update the EC but also install the lenovo firmware. If you already have coreboot installed, you are going to need to reflash it after the update.
