sys-usb prevented the mouse after re-boot for some reason whilst the touchpad had been disabled.
How to enable the touchpad (to fix sys-usb) i.e. navigate Xfce Settings? Thanks.
You could try to hit Alt+F3 and choose Settings Manager, then navigate to Mouse and Touchpad.
