EasyOS is a version of Puppy Linux. I have installed EasyOS (Daedalus version) to a hard drive in a Qube, on a Lenovo T480. The highest resolution for a Video Setting is Vesa, 1024x768.
The resolution also chooses the size of the Window. and this yields a fixed Window size for EasyOS about 6.5 x 5 inches.
It would be preferable to have a Window where the size is adjustable, by the Touch Pad/Mouse.
Also, how would I determine what is driving the graphics. Speaking not just this particular laptop. I might be run from a graphics chip or a graphics card, or the main processor.
For a higher security, -Mission Critical- project, Seems like avoiding blobs, one would compromise fastest possible video and run the screen from the main processor only. (I am thinking that the main processor is open source, FOSS.)
What I see in the documentation is that some graphics cards would require -passthrough-. Whic someone described as might be time consuming to install, and perhaps unstable.
Where am I wrong here? I may not have a good understanding of how the implementation of what is on my screen is being displayed to me.
