I edited GRUB_DISABLE_RECOVERY=(false / “false”), but it didn’t help. I would like to add recovery mode to GRUB. Please help me
Hi linuxuser1
Did you only edit dom0:/etc/default/grub … or did you also run the
grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg
?
Note: Check the path/filename – it was changed at some point, so depending on when you installed Qubes OS, it might be a different path!

i just try it but it doesn’t work, sorry… ![]()
#GRUB_DISABLE_RECOVERY= doesn’t work too
it work with GRUB_DISABLE_RECOVERY="false"
then
grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/efi/EFI/qubes/grub.cfg
At grub, select advanced etc… then you selected Xen Hypervisor etc… and then you will have a list with different kernel and there recovery mode.
Sorry for the “etc…” but i don’t remember the exactly sentences lol
