I will probably open some malicious files at one point and i would like to if its pretty easy to break out of the Standalone considering the guest tools arent even maintened anymore? (And how secure is this compared to Virtualbox with guest tools or Qemu/KVM?)
Everything inside the VM (including guest tools) is unprivileged, so it doesn’t affect security.
