When I looked at Liteqube the installation was indeed buggy.
One reason why I have not looked further is that the developer has not,(I
think), brought it forward to the “official” side as an enhancement or
community contribution. That seems odd.

I never presume to speak for the Qubes team. When I comment in the Forum or in the mailing lists I speak for myself.
