How do I install Qubes OS using an auxiliary SATA drive?

Hello,

I have encountered an unexpected problem related to the old BIOS.
The Qubes cannot be installed on NVME because the motherboard is old and it “does not see” the NVMe disk.
Therefore, the Qubes is successfully installed on NVMe, but it cannot be further launched.

For this reason I added an additional SATA drive to the system and conducted an experiment with Debian, dividing the partitions into different disks.
I was able to easily install the /EFI partition and /boot partition on SATA disk, and install the /root and /home partition on the NVMe disk.
In this variant, Debian is successfully launched and running.
This success is due to the simple and user-friendly Debian installer.

I would like to repeat this experiment with Qubes, but its modern Anaconda installer from RH is so inconvenient and confusing that I could not figure it out and could not correctly divide the partitions into different disks.
Maybe you can tell me how to handle the same partitioning in Anaconda?

What kind of idiot created this new Anaconda for Red Hat v.7 and more??
In the old Anaconda for Red Hat 6 all sections were easily and simply marked up in 2-3 minutes, but in this upgraded Anaconda I can’t even mark them up in 2 hours!

RedHat is evolving in strange ways. Not sure who sets the strategic goals but they are not on the same page with the needs of a lot of their customers.

So I’m not alone in this opinion, thank you.
First, Red Hat developed a new stupid installer for Red Hat 7.
Then she killed CentOS, etc.
Red Hat is doing everything to make users turn away from it.
