Lenovo ThinkStation D30 Type 4223

Remarks

  1. USB-WIFI → working using TP-link Archer T3U Plus usb adaptor → using RTL99x2BU linux drivers (https://github.com/RinCat/RTL88x2BU-Linux-Driver) → BUT had to remove the line → BUILD_EXCLUSIVE_KERNEL="^4.9.*" ← from “/usr/src/aufs-4.9+20161219/dkms.conf” to work…actually works amazing…I get >200mbps using this driver (only got ~70mbps on the windows 10 pro crap install I had on this machine previously)

  2. Windows 10 pro HVM up and running…working well, used for my professional and academic digital activity, latest update (FYI de-bloated and disabled all telemetry and Microsoft ‘kosher’ spyware using O&OShutup10)

  3. Still HAVE NOT:

  • installed Nvidia or AMD drivers
  • no Bluetooth

Great! thanku…

Question - is this a good place and thread to post issues I have (eg- if I decided to install graphics drivers and have problems?)
