got audio to work, seems to be a problem with newish intel chipsets and conflicting linux drivers; should probably be fixed upstream sometime…
startup GUI (LUKS Passphrase prompt) has some minor visual glitches
started using an external monitor via hdmi, works flawlessly
everything else seems to be working fine so far…

How did you got sound work? Its not the same Chip but maybe your solution works for ACL3066 too?
How about suspend?
Did you try using TB3 Dock (including ethernet)?
