Max 40GB RAM, if you get the model with 8GB soldered RAM and put a 32GB stick in it. Everything works. Sometimes need to restart netVM due to dropped packets, see [Qubes issue #10850](https://github.com/QubesOS/qubes-issues/issues/10850). USB ports (type-A and type-C) develop loose connections relatively quickly: USB-C power port is only secured by one screw and can't handle years of plugging/unplugging. (Tighten the nearby screw on the bottom of the machine if the power port develops a loose connection.) The paint on the bottom case gets chipped easily. Overall it seems not to handle abuse as well, or last as long, as older Thinkpads.
