Remarks
Qubes is a joy on this machine.
- Fresh install of 4.3 release
- Prior to install, updated BIOS and hardware/controllers firmware to latest
- Replaced stock WD 512GB SSD with SK hynix 1TB Gold P31 PCIe NVMe M.2 Gen3
- 32GB RAM added for 48GB total
- Suspend works very well - did change BIOS setting from “Windows + Linux” to “Linux”
- Install choked on the ethernet controller - "“Error: Start failed: internal error: Unable to reset PCI Device 0000:00.1f.6: no FLR, PM reset or bus reset available” - so, lazily, I removed the device from sys-firewall settings and carried on
- WiFi works great
- Audio works
- Battery consumption sub-excellent but improved after I decreased # of vCPUs of my custom app qubes
