It failed to update the appmenus for you disposable templates using qvm-appmenus --update command.
It failed because it couldn’t start these disposable templates, because sys-net failed to start.
You can try to manually run the failed commands in dom0 terminal to fix it after you fix your sys-net problem:

qvm-appmenus --get-default-whitelist debian-12-xfce | grep -i 'firefox\|term' | qvm-appmenus --set-whitelist=- --update default-dvm
qvm-appmenus --update whonix-workstation-17-dvm

Sys-net and Sys-firewall qubes also won’t start for me. But I can make new qubes and use them. I’m only made one or two appVMs.

When I try to start sys-net, the following error comes up:
start failed:internal error: Unable to reset PCI device 0000:00:1f.6: no FLR, PM reset or bus reset available, see /var/log/libvirt/libx/libsl-driver.log for details

Same message comes up when I try to start sys-whonix-gateway it tries to open sys-net and sys-firewall and the same messages keep reappearing.

These are the actual errors that prevent from using Qubes OS, but they are not caused by the error during Initial Setup.

Yeah, I saw that in the troubleshooting section. I was going to ask if I could just ignore the other problems, try to sort out the sys-net issue and once that’s sorted, then just make the disposable and appVMs myself. But I typed alot and didn’t wanna overwhelm haha

Edit 1: Phew! Okay, I got it working. You were right Mellow. I used the method you mentioned and it got my sys-net working.

I was all able to run the other commands that you mentioned and have no issues.

I only had to use the following instructions to get it working:

On my machine, the chipset USB controller (00:14.0) was somehow assigned to both sys-net and sys-usb. Of course that’s a big no-no. I don’t know how or why this happened, but I’m posting about how I fixed it in-case anyone else has a similar problem.I fixed it by detaching it from sys-net and re-attaching it to sys-usb only:

qvm-pci detach sys-net dom0:00_14.0 qvm-pci attach --persistent --option no-strict-reset=true sys-usb dom0:00_14.0
