Remarks

  • Always used the latest stable version and didnt modify much, so maybe i missed a feature or something (R4.2.x worked earlier too)
  • VT-Switch froze the whole system. I didn’t need this feature, so I just disabled it by creating the following file:
    /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-disable-vt.conf 
    Section "ServerFlags"
    Option "DontVTSwitch" "true"

  • Dedicated GPU (NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada): i used it sometimes in a Windows qube and it worked. Never tried it in other Qubes
  • Network adapters (Wi-Fi and Ethernet) need strict reset for PCI devices to be disabled. The default Debian 13 Xfce template has working drivers
  • Windows 11 LTSC 2024 HVM Qubes works, including the
    Qubes-Windows-Tools (tried version 4.2.2.0)
  • Microphone quality is really bad, but probably a hardware issue
  • qubes-video-companion worked
  • Updating firmware is not really working, qubes-fwupdmgr cant update all components and currently its completely not working (issue #10869) so my workaround is booting every few months into Windows, run the Dell Command Update application and install Windows updates
