Remarks

  • For Installation, I had to deactivate the NIC (ethernet), the Wireless and Bluetooth devices in the BIOS (Wireless and BT not present but deactivation was necessary). After the installation finished (after the first reboot when the installation is completed and qubes os can be used) those devices can be re-enabled in the BIOS again and the ethernet device can be added to sys-net. Also, strict reset needs to be configured for this device. After this, it works like a charm without issues and the network is stable.
  • Tested and functioning properly: all basic functions including dual monitor, front and back USB including USB-C (mouse, keyboard, USB-stick, smartphone, Nitrokey), Audio internal and external, DVD-Drive, additional RAM (added 16 GB to the 2 x 4 GB) and 500 GB-HDD were recognized and used.
