In 4.0.3, apt autoremove or its dnf equivalent tended to remove important Qubes packages in templates, causing them to stop working (this is noted in the Qubes documentation). My list of unused packages are growing on my 4.1 machine but I’ve noticed that Qubes packages are not in the lists (at least, not obviously).
Is it safe to use autoremove in 4.1?
P.S. Is anyone else getting an uncharacteristically large amount of package upgrades today? My untouched debian-10-minimal had 12 upgraded, 147 newly installed. This raises red flags for me.
