Framework 13 Intel Core Ultra 7 165H doesn't suspend

As the title says. I’ve recently upgraded my motherboard on my framework laptop, losing the ability to suspend in the process. Basically if I turn off the lid and then on again, it’s like the computer didn’t sleep at all, only the display turned off. The computer is perfectly usable after this.

Further proof that suspend doesn’t work is that putting the laptop away (e.g in a case/bag) results in finding the laptop VERY hot once I take it off again.

Qubes version is 4.2.

Have you tried the command systemctl suspend to see if it goes to sleep this way?

Just tried, no joy. Display goes black, standby light blinks, but the computer remains very warm even after waiting 10-15 minutes, so clearly the CPU isn’t sleeping!
