Files Previously Transferred to Sys-usb No Longer There

I have copied *.mp3 files into the “sys-usb”.
Now I wanted to move these files from the “sys-usb” to another VM and realized that these files are no longer in the “sys-usb”.

Now my question is, where can I find these files that were previously in the “sys-usb”?

Seems like your sys-usb is a disposable qube? If so, the files are lost each time you restart sys-usb.

sys-usb is a strange choice to move files between qubes, what are you trying to do?

I have a recording device that I have to connect to USB to transfer the files to the computer, that’s what I was told.

default-dvm

What would be better to set?

Sys-usb is a service qube. It’s not meant for media storage. Mp3 files should be stored on a persistent appvm. You could use Vault or create a new appvm for mp3 files. If you are using a USB drive you would attach that drive to the appvm you want to use with the USB drop down selector
