External monitor issue (very odd)

I am connected to a Dell docking station with all drivers up to date.

The docking station connects (via 2 display ports) to two external monitors stacked vertically - #2 is the bottom, #3 is the top. (Res: 1920x1200, Scale 1x, Refresh 60HZ for both. Both monitors are of the same make and model.)

The layout and primary monitor is correctly set in System Settings and the mouse and apps move smoothly between #1 (laptop) and #2, but is a somewhat glitchy when moving to #3 - and it’s extremely difficult to drag items from #2 up to #3 (almost as though there is a sort of brick wall between #2 and #3.

The problem is this: When right-clicking on an item in #3 (top monitor), the resultant context menu appears in #2 (bottom monitor) - yet the mouse pointer remains in #3. Moving the mouse in #3 moves through the menu items in the popup context menu in bottom monitor #2.
I hope I have explained the issue in an understandable way.
If I’ve missed a setting somewhere please let me know.

As always, thank you for any help you’re able to give.

I’d bet it’s the issue documented in the gui-configuration.html#video-ram-adjustment-for-high-resolution-displays page.

Thank you for your response.
Unfortunately those steps did not work. All commands executed without error but the problem persists.
As an IT person (but not a programmer) the problems feels like one of coding.
