Ethernet vif199.0 Started Appearing on Network Manager Applet

In the last day a new Ethernet connection appeared on the toolbar icon for my internet connections, in addition to the one I use. It is:
Ethernet Network (vif199.0). I believe it appeared after an update of either Fedora or Whonix. Does anyone know what it is? Do I need it? And can I remove it?
