Do you feel comfortable using ‘qvm-pci’ on the dom0 terminal?
Another thought: I don’t think Qubes OS supports hot plugging PCI
devices (not sure). At lease in my case the express card needs to be
already inserted when I boot. Once removed, I cannot use it until the
next reboot. Could that be an explanation for what you are seeing?
