Dom0 update fails "Disk quota exceeded"

Hello people,
as of recent whenever I’ve been trying to update dom0 I keep getting an error:

qfile-agent: Fatal error: File copy: "Disk quota exceeded; last file: realtek-firmware-20250109-1.fc37.noarch.rpm" (error type: Disk quota exceeded)
'/usr/lib/qubes/qrexec-client-vm dom0 qubes.ReceiveUpdates /usr/lib/qubes/qfile-agent /var/lib/qubes/dom0-updates/packages/*.rpm failed with exit code 1!

I’ve read up online a bit and checked fstab but I have no clue how to clear the excess files, I have no clue what they could be, nor how they appeared. I checked around the forum and online and only found a single reddit post from 8 years ago with one comment (saying to check to fstab). I am very greatful for any help received.

Maybe you’ve got old updates accumulated in cache. Try sudo qubes-dom0-update --clean in dom0.
