Dom0 checks for updates too slowly

One of my Qubes systems takes much longer to check for a dom0 update than the other on the same network. They both use the sys-whonix update proxy. Any idea why that would happen?

Maybe it’s using some slow Tor Guard node, try to change it:

I remember there was some initial setup process done automatically after enabling Whonix for the first time on Qubes. Is there a way to re-do that entire process?

Anon Connection Wizzard app in sys-whonix.
But I think it won’t change the Tor Guard node.

I don’t suspect it’s a whonix/tor issue, because I do all my updates thru sys-firewall->sys-net and dom0 update is like 10x slower than anything else. However the update proceeds at a normal speed if I run dom0 update a second time without restarting sys-firewall. So to me it feels like a caching issue in the update qube.
