Do you know why It doesn’t work on qubes 4.3 as debian-13-minimal template (on debian-12-minimal doesn’t work too)? It worked for me on 4.2.4 if I used debian-12-minimal. Bind dirs doesn’t mounting the session files. I don’t know why.
I successfully created a disposable Session qube with persistent SessionID based on a debian-13-minimal template in r4.3. However, I chose to not use /rw/bind-dirs/. Instead, I placed config.json and db.sqlite directly in the home directory of <dvm-template>, respectively /home/user/.config/Session/config.json and /home/user/.config/Session/sql/db.sqlite. Bind dirs was never necessary since everything in /home/user/ persists anyway. I will update the instructions accordingly.

In addition to these instructions, remove /etc/apt/sources.list.d/oxen.list before updating.
