Dev Help w/ Docs Contribution (on MacOS)

Exactly! @ninavizz if you’re still willing to give this at try, install docker and docker-compose and replace them where you would see podman and podman compose. As far as I’m aware they are functionally very similar.

@ninavizz - you have a few options here, if you want to use the Mac.
Do you know how to view the git logs and see the instructions from Qubes
before the change to use Podman?
I posted instructions to use Jekyll.
I’m sure you can find instructions on installing docker - make sure that
they fit the version you are running.

So, FIRST make sure you can see the old instructions.
Then decide which route you want to take to render the website.
Install the necessary programs.
Profit.

If you need help at any stage, shout out.

You are all beyond lovely! I got it to work with Docker. Now, I just need to tame the Git workflow part, lol.

I will update the docs, once I get my CSS PR submitted. Thank you all, again.

I’m happy to give a hand or pair on that. :pear: (I’ve a special interest in Git as a tool to organise our thoughts, and helping people start making sense of its UI after they’ve used it for some time is something I’ve done before.)

Obviously, that may or not be practical (format, time zones, etc.) However, if it sounds like bouncing some thoughts is something that could be useful as you tame those workflows, feel free to DM me and we can figure something out. :slightly_smiling_face:
