I am on Qubes 4.3rc3
Creating shortcut on qubes desktop by dragging from application menu works.
When I double click to launch an warning appears-
Untruted application launcher
The desktop file is in an insecure location and not marked as executable. If you do not trust this click cancel.
Should I proceed or not.
Is there anything security issue or any mitigation before proceeding further.

I don’t think that this issue is related to Qubes OS. The desktop is managed by XFCE, take a look at their forum first:
