For some annoying reasons that I don’t need to get into, it would really help me out to be able to decrypt a backup from a system that isn’t running qubes. I made the backup with the normal qubes-backup utility with a password on qubes 4.1. The only machine I have on hand at the moment with qubes installed is having what I think might be hardware issues (sounds a lot like what this guy experienced #SOLVED : Qubes 4.1 LUKS Decryption Issue - #3 by BlackMerchant except that I didn’t get lucky and have it work after a while).
Sorry if this has been asked or is documented somewhere, if so I wasn’t able to find it. Any ideas?
