Dasharo FidelisGuard Z690 WiFi module

Is it possible to install a WiFi module on the system and still meet the Qubes OS requirements? If yes then maybe someone of you could recommend me a good WiFi module that would fit the configuration and work under Qubes OS?

On a certified hardware, any Linux-compatible WiFi adapter should work. However, AFAIK you will not be able to compartmentalize sys-usb and sys-net with a USB WiFi adapter, they will have to be combined into one VM.

They are selling the same motherboard with onboard Wi-Fi

MSI Pro Z690-A WiFi DDR4

It’s only the version without Wi-Fi that is certified, but the boards are identical apart from the Wi-Fi module.

I have the Wi-Fi version, and it works with Qubes OS. I had to manually update the Linux firmware package, but I don’t know if this is still needed, and it might only be an issue on Debian.

If you want the certified hardware, you can buy a PCI expansion card with Wi-Fi, any card that has Linux support should work.
