qvm-service is a dom0 application, not available in an appVM.
It doesn’t have an --add option, and it doesn’t support use of --opts
like that. I don’t know what you were thinking of.

The provided example sounds confident while being utter garbage. Obviously there will be humans doing that too and one needs to always consume content posted here with care, but we hardly need help in generating more confusing content.
