boot problem:freeze at grub

I boot QubesOS form an external SSD.but it freeze at a page like:

Then the computer gets very hot and the fan keeps turning.what shuld i do with that?

  • highlight the boot entry you want to run
  • press e to edit the boot options
  • locate kernel line and remove the quiet option
  • press ctrl+x to boot

Does it tell you anything about what it’s doing?
