Blank screen when maximizing VLC

Anyone else get a blank (black) screen when they try to maximize VLC?

If i manually stretch the window out its ok, but use the maximize button goes black, audio keeps playing.

3440x1440 resolution
Fedora-34
Nvidia GTX 1080ti
