Backing up data drives and Veracrypt vaults

I’m looking for a streamlined solution to keep data drives backed up and Veracrypt vaults synchronized.

Qubes backup works great for backing up Qubes… but what are you using for external data drives?

I also have some large Veracrypt vaults. I could copy the whole vault each time I backup, or open the vaults and synchronize them. (Cumbersome). Is there any software solutions that streamline?

I use cryptsetup containers, so the data is pretty much comparable to veracrypt containers.

Syncthing syncs very fast and just the changed blocks over the network.

Also i made good experiences with having a cryptocontainer on a server that is mounted and decrypted on my main machine over samba, nfs or sshfs.
