I try to follow qubes verification documentation instructions and end up in libo land.
Are there easy/simpified instructions somewhere?

The documentation is the easy/simplified instructions.

gpg --verify and the practices around it is a sophomore level skill with these kinds of operating systems. If you aren’t yet fluent with gpg --verify then you have more time to put in.
Gotta hit the gym if you want that double bubble shape on the back side you know what I’m saying yes you do.

###… The problem you're addressing (if any)
* When trying to verify or re-verify the ISO, the user faces a lot of text, sometimes unrelated to the purpose of the re-verification. I.e.: on the forum, we sometimes tell the users to re-verify the data written on a USB drive, not because of an attacker but to check that it is okay.
* There are contradictory assumptions about what steps should have been followed before the verification, some repetitions, etc.
* The "Troubleshooting FAQ" might have some outdated output with current `gpg` output.
### The solution you'd like
Rewrite the page with:
* a clear distinction between a [tutorial](https://diataxis.fr/tutorials/) and a [How-to](https://diataxis.fr/how-to-guides/) might help.
* instead of the FAQ, some good links to up-to-date documentation of the related program might be better.
### The value to a user and who that user might be
* a user that already followed the tutorial could then skip it and re-read only the how-to.
* with a minimal Troubleshooting FAQ: less documentation to maintain
### Completion criteria checklist
You can assign that feature request to me.

Why? What do you not understand? What cannot you do? What would these
“simplified instructions” look like ?
I never presume to speak for the Qubes team.
When I comment in the Forum I speak for myself.
