Anonimity journalism and rdp vps vpns

Hi there guys I am a journalist and need anonimty As sometimes
Things can be bad without anonimity especially in my field

Am also a human being so I need my personal life and I can’t
Have 100 devices and ips for every task I do but at the same time
I want to provide whatever my work needs
So I just want a simple way to maintain both
In everyday life

So we have these

A)Devices and accounts

•Dev 1 Laptop - isp1 ( anonymous account -burner sim- isp provider)

•Host Linux

•Vm1 linux account 1 with vpn 1 ( full anonymous1)

•Vm2 Linux account 2 with vpn 2( personal real id to connect to home PC)

•Vps
Rdp app relay (eg rust desk self hosted)

•Dev 2 home PC - isp2( real name account isp provider)

•Host Linux

•Vm 3 account 3 with vpn 3 ( personal real id home)

•Vm4 account 4 with vpn 4 ( easy anonymous 2 home not related with anonymous 1-account1)

On both devices host is only for hosting the vms
only updates on host
Each vm have its own nic cards and different than host in order to avoid as much I can device leak/fingerprint

B)I want to do this

Connect
• dev1 acc2
to
•dev2 acc3
And do everything like I was in dev2-acc3
Without corellation
between

•dev1-acc1
with

•dev2- acc3/acc 4

C) scenario in “simple” words
I have a laptop for anonymity
and I want sometimes to use
this laptop for my personal activities
Such as banking email etc

But even with VPNs or vms
or even qubes on the laptop
I can’t avoid
Device fingerprint
Even with the right setup sometimes leaks can occured

So I thought to connect via Rdp
in home PC and do everything there instead

But when connected directly to home PC
Isp1 could see isp2 so will know that is me

So I need VPNs ( obviously anonymous purchased)

So I thought to connect dev 1 - acc 2 -vpn2 to dev2 - acc3
using rdp app

But again vpn2 will know that am connected to isp 2 and will know again who I am

So after that I thought again to run a relay RDP server on
Anonymous purchased VPs and go like this

•connect dev 1 acc2 vpn 2 to vps

•Connect dev 3 acc3 vpn 3 to vps

All the communication will be inside the vps
But the rdp relay will encrypt the traffic inside the vps

So in this scenario only dev 1 -acc2 and dev 2 -acc3 will know what is happening inside there cause

•Isp1 will see vpn2

•Vpn 2 will see vps

•Vps will see rdp

•Isp 2 will see vpn3

•Vpn3 will see vps

I don’t want to discuss how to purchase anonymously
VPNs etc but of course anyone has a advise on this one
Always want extra advices

2)The main concern here as I am not as good in this staff
A)
Am I right for who sees what
B)
and the connection works this way or I misunderstand something ?? For example will rdp server encrypt traffic from vps

3)Will I have a big problem with the speed of all these
( Eg for a simple task I will need a lot of time)

4)What else I will have to consider

  1. is there any other completely different
way to set up all of this I want

  2. I know that this must be a very hardened setup and maybe
Too much but as I like networking and anonimity also for
    Knowledge I just wanna learn
So any advise and info will be helping

Sorry about the English

If something I haven’t said for info please ask me

Thanks a lot

Hey,
Take a look on topic from devs:

And there is also part for journalists:

VPS - cloud security scope, from who manage that host, where it hosted and many more questions out of scope of qubes.

You can run same VPN’s in qubes, just follow documentation and forum topics about vpn’s

Hi, fox_56tre and welcome here! I don’t understand if what you are asking for is related to Qubes OS. As pointed out by @WhiteShadow, this forum only treat questions related to the OS, so please clarify this.
