After resuming from suspension, screen froze and returned to the login screen

using QubesOS R4.2.4.

This morning, as usual, I resumed from a suspended state, but after resuming, the screen froze and I was forcibly returned to the login screen.

Is this something that happens during normal operation? I suspect it might simply be LightDM crashing, but…

Suspend has varying support across hardware.

Thank you. So the behaviour when entering and exiting suspend is hardware-dependent…ok. It may have been a mere coincidence that it happened that way. I’ll mark this as resolved.
