On my desktop I installed Qubes 4.1 beta a week ago. Sometimes I am getting a complete black screen after logging in (via the lightdm). Only the mouse pointer can be seen and I can move that, but nothing happens after that. Any tips on what can be done?
I was using the system happily till yesterday.
Updated: lightdm, not gdm.
Tried with kernel-latest, still same error.
Just now deleted all user configurations under home directory and now I can log back in. But all AppVM/template related menu items are gone. Any tips on what can be done to get them back?
qvm-appmenus perhaps?
I am still having the same issue again and again, only solution is to do rm -rf .* as the main user in dom0.
