I don’t know if there is a reason why there isn’t one, but if not, adding onion-location would make accessing https://www.qubes-os.org/ onion website much easier. (on tor, it switches automaticly to the onion site, and on brave it shows the option to switch to it)

Wait, we already had that! It’s gone now?!
I remember merging this PR to add it:
QubesOS:master
← RiccardoMasutti:patch-1
opened 09:52AM - 07 Jun 20 UTC
Starting with the release of [Tor Browser 9.5](https://blog.torproject.org/new-r… elease-tor-browser-95), websites can have their alternate .onion addresses advertised to Tor desktop users who have the 'Onion Location' option enabled.
Sites that add the .onion address advertisement HTTP header can prompt their visitors to switch to a version delivered using the Onion service for improved security.
Final result:

Ok, I just dug into the Git history and discovered that it was removed in this PR:
QubesOS:master
← marmarek:translation-prepare
opened 11:37PM - 04 Mar 21 UTC
This is the massive refactor of the main website repository done by @maiska (htt… ps://github.com/marmarek/qubesos.github.io/pull/5) but with clean git history. Plus a few fixups. The actual translation tools are not added here yet and the language switcher menu is disabled.
There should be no visual change in the output - I've checked this on a few pages of different types and it seems to be ok.
Merging this now would greatly ease the work on finishing actual translations integration, as we can avoid frequent merge/rebase and conflict resolution.
Thanks @maiska for this work!
But I have no idea why, so I’ve posted a question on that commit here:

@adw Wow that was fast, thank you ! Works well in tor but it doesn’t suggest it in brave (I personnally don’t use brave but I hope firefox add this one day)

Well, I’ve never used Brave. If it works in Tor Browser but not Brave, then that sounds like it’s probably a Brave problem. However, if you discover that it’s a problem with the way we’ve added the meta tag or something, let me know.
