A reverse QubesIncoming folder

Not when you want to document something about Qubes OS

Ok fair.

Good idea but it doesn’t work in dom0

I would like to thank you all very much for your help! Especially @otter2 for this PR: Exclude GNOME from usability & ux documentation by RandyTheOtter · Pull Request #1744 · QubesOS/qubes-doc · GitHub and the code in Quick Quality-of-life Improvements.

So here’s the current state of my scripts:

Git repo: parulin/qarulin-outgoing: a reverse ~/QubesIncoming directory - Codeberg.org
The docs: qarulin-outgoing: a reverse ~/QubesIncoming directory — qarulin-outgoing documentation

I tried to leave some docs for anyone willing to achieve the same result without my low-quality code. There is still a lot of improvement that could be done.

Yes, it does :stuck_out_tongue:

Looking through the code, I would recommend you go with “QubesOutgoing”. I mean, sure you make a distinction to the “OG flavor” - but I think everyone who installs it knows what they are doing and would appreciate a clearer, sorted, name.

Hmm, now I have another problem…

This is not meant to be “installed”, so if someone does it anyway, I expect them to be able to run a small sed command to change that. I don’t like to make some kind of customization that would start with qubes-, qvm-.
