TUXEDO Pulse 15 - Gen1

Remarks

Wifi works out of the box, Battery looked ok, but hard to tell when you run lots of VMs with data updating constantly.

Just installed 4.1 on a TUXEDO Pulse 15 - Gen1
AMD Ryzen 7 4800H
Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200

Testing on wifi right now as there is no ethernet port anywhere nearby, i am traveling.

Amazingly fast, will come back if i find something that doesn’t work.

Hi Mono, I’ve two Tuxedo Pulse 15 Gen1 laptops and I wonder whether on your Tuxedo the power led slowly flashes as though the system would be in sleep mode, although it’s normally running. I had that issue on Arch Linux too; there I could fix it by installing the Tuxedo keyboard driver. The driver is open source but it would require to install a dev environment and compile / install the driver in dom0, hence I’m reluctant to do that.

It has nothing to do with the firmware version. I tried with A02, A03, and A05 and the respective ECs.

Thanks in advance.

Regards.

Hi Mono,

Did you have any of these errors when booting from the installation USB?

X startup failed, aborting installation
The installation can not continue and the system will be rebooted

If you can, please contribute under the specific topic for a different Tuxedo model here:

hey, sorry can’t help/check atm, used the laptop last year shortly for traveling and haven’t touched it since then, when i get the time i will reinstall the current release but apart from noise fan (there is a solution here on the forums, try search) everything worked that i needed.
GL and keep us up to date with your findings
