Remarks: I changed the ‘TPM’ to none because there definitely isn’t one on the mini, and ‘works’ to yes because it does - at least all the usual basics. I left those I don’t know about (most of them).
Being a desktop with no PS2 input it needs a usb keyboard and mouse so no sys-usb was created during installation but following the Qubes documentation here:

I have a sys-usb that works.
Sleep works and restores just fine.
I will send the .cpio to the forums email address as advised.
