I got a new laptop at work, and I tried installing Qubes OS, just to see if it works. The report is from me using Qubes for maybe 1 hour, take the report with a grain of salt.
Qubes OS R4.2 installed without any issues, with secure boot disabled.
I didn’t experience any major issues, Wi-Fi, video, audio, webcam sys-usb, and suspend worked out-of-the-box.
Remarks
The NIC didn’t work out of the box.
I tried upgrading to the newest firmware-linux packages, which didn’t do anything, then I tried enabling strict reset, which solved the issue and ethernet was working.
